Kew Gardens is a compact neighborhood along Queens Boulevard with a surprisingly diverse set of restaurants for its size, including some of the borough's better Israeli and Middle Eastern spots. It's easy to reach via the E and F trains at the Kew Gardens stop, and prices tend to stay reasonable. The neighborhood dining scene punches above its weight for a place most visitors overlook.
