Spring CafeB

153d Centre St, New York, NY 10013 · Cafe, Breakfast restaurant, Vegan restaurant · Chinatown

Compact vegan cafe in Chinatown serving fast-casual Asian fusion bowls, baos, and bento boxes; tasty and affordable for NYC, with occasional service and consistency hiccups.

Our take

Spring Cafe delivers solid neighborhood cafe quality with strong food quality anchored by standout baos and mushrooms, plus friendly, attentive service and impressive speed. However, inconsistent execution on fries and sandwiches and very limited seating that can feel cramped and hot prevent a higher grade—the tiny footprint genuinely constrains the experience for most diners, especially during peak hours.

One caveat: Space is tiny with few stools; groups may struggle
