A cheerful, beach-adjacent breakfast and brunch room with friendly service, appealing decor, and plenty of generous plates. The food is usually fresh and satisfying, though a few poorly executed meals and recurring price complaints keep it from feeling like a bargain. Try: French toast.
This is a polished, intimate sushi room where exceptionally fresh fish, precise rice, and creative rolls are the main draw. Service can be warm and impressively knowledgeable, but busy-period seating, takeout refusals, and occasional hostess lapses make the experience less dependable. Try: Bethany Roll.
This cozy, eclectic Bethany Beach restaurant pairs a strong seafood-focused menu with a warm porch and lively dining room. Most diners rave about fresh preparations and standout specials, while a smaller but detailed set reports reservation confusion, long waits, and uneven hospitality. Try: Dino rib.
This is a busy, nostalgic beach-town diner with generous portions, friendly staff, and an unusually broad all-day menu. Breakfast and seafood earn the most consistent praise, while a minority of detailed reports describe cold or poorly prepared food and troubling allergy or ingredient-handling lapses. Try: Cream of crab soup.
This is a bustling, TV-filled barbecue spot with live-music energy, friendly service on many visits, and a crowd that mixes vacationers with repeat locals. The brisket, ribs, wings, and several sides can be excellent, but complaints about cold or bland food, portion value, and occasional service failures show real inconsistency. Try: brisket.
This is a spacious, lively local institution where the spiral-sauce pizza, wings, game-room energy, and beach-town nostalgia do much of the work. Food ranges from genuinely tasty to distinctly average, while service has produced some serious delays and lapses. Try: spiral-sauce pizza.
This lively, charming Bethany Beach dining room delivers well-executed Italian-American food, generous portions, and notably knowledgeable servers on its best nights. Longtime and recent diners also report serious swings in preparation, pacing, and value, so it suits celebratory meals and groups willing to reserve ahead more than diners seeking guaranteed consistency. Try: Garlic bread.
This is a compact, family-run takeout pizzeria with a devoted following for crisp thin crust, flavorful cheese, and classic New York-style slices. Most diners find the pizza genuinely excellent, though prices are not bargain-level and peak waits can be extreme. Try: Cheese pizza.
This cozy Bethany Beach creperie turns out sweet and savory crepes, waffles, and bowls in a relaxed counter-service setting with indoor and outdoor seating. Most diners find the food fresh, generous, and worth returning for, though a few report thin fillings, overcooked crepes, missing items, or uneven bowls. Try: Nutella and banana crepe.
Baja Beach House Grill delivers a cheerful, beachy scene with patios, music, generous portions, and a prime boardwalk location. The food can be genuinely satisfying—especially nachos, burritos, and happy-hour tacos—but bland or incomplete orders and steep pricing show up often enough to temper the enthusiasm. Try: nachos.
