The area around the old Stary Kleparz market is where you'll find some of Kraków's best-value Asian and North Indian cooking, a small cluster of restaurants that fills a gap the city centre doesn't quite cover. Prices here are among the most affordable in Kraków, and the quality in the Indian restaurants in particular holds up well against anything in a more prominent location. If you want a break from central European menus, Kleparz is well worth the short walk from the Old Town.
