Charming garden taverna near the marina serving Dalmatian seafood and grills; food can be excellent but inconsistencies and value concerns appear, so choose core dishes and expect marina-area pricing.
Hidden behind an impressive gate near the marina, Taverna Loggia opens onto a leafy courtyard that feels warm and tucked-away. Service is often personable—one diner noted their waiter made sure the children ate first—and the room inside, with its brick ceiling, reads cozy and atmospheric. Expect a relaxed pace and, at times, attention shifting when a big group arrives. The cooking leans classic Dalmatian—think octopus, buzara shellfish, carpaccios, and rolled sea bass—delivered with a few modern flourishes rather than theatrics. At its best the seafood tastes vivid and clean, like the sea bass filleted tableside, while grills and pašticada satisfy traditional cravings. Performance can vary, though: some guests mention bland or overly salty dishes, so you will want to stick to core specialties and ask for guidance. Families are welcome here. There is a proper kids menu (pasta, chicken, ćevapčići) and servers commonly pace children first, making it easy for family dinners. Portions on some adult mains run modest, but sides and platters help; picky eaters can rely on simple pasta, fries, and grilled items.
