Wingmans is a lively Soho wings spot with genuinely strong fried chicken, playful flavor mashups, and quick, friendly service when it’s on form — but the tight seating, occasional inconsistency, and occasional billing/service frustrations keep it from being a blind slam dunk.
Wingmans delivers solid A- grade performance through exceptional food quality and strong service attentiveness, anchored by inventive, flavor-forward wings that drive loyal repeat visits. However, inconsistent execution with occasional cold or over-sauced dishes, combined with cramped seating during peak times, prevents grade A territory. The excellent Soho location makes it a reliable pre-theatre or group destination, but lacks the polish and consistency of the area's premier dining establishments.
One caveat: Some diners found the room uncomfortably tight, especially when busy or seated downstairs.
