Poke KomaB

1354 Park St, Alameda, CA 94501 · Hawaiian restaurant, Poke bar · Alameda

Fresh, customizable poke bowls at fair prices with quick counter service; mostly excellent experiences with occasional freshness and service lapses at late hours.

Our take

Poke Koma delivers solid neighborhood poke execution with fresh fish and generous portions as genuine strengths, supported by friendly, efficient counter service. However, quality dips reported late evening—particularly rice temperature and end-of-day freshness—prevent a higher grade, and the limited seating positions it as a casual takeout destination rather than a full dining experience. Best visited earlier in the day when ingredients are at peak freshness.

One caveat: Freshness inconsistencies late in the day including wilted greens and rice issues (sporadic but notable)
